Inter's Gian Piero Gasperini praises Luc Castaignos & Ricky Alvarez after friendly win over Trentino Team

Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini has expressed his satisfaction with the performances of new arrivals Luc Castaignos and Ricky Alvarez in their first match for the Italian giants.
Castaignos and Alvarez made their unofficial Inter debuts in the 6-1 friendly win over Trentino Team on Thursday and both signings netted during the contest.
"I was really impressed by Castaignos and Alvarez: they both showed good movement. The Dutchman is younger but he knows how to time his runs," Gasperini stated on the club's official website.
"Alvarez will be an important player for this team. He made himself noticed right from the start."
Gasperini then briefly discussed the match in general and stated that the friendly was quite important for him in assessing his squad.
"This first match was useful for me to observe, adjust and add some things. We started well then we lost our shape a bit, partly because of the injuries - though they aren't serious fortunately. We'll keep working hard and try to improve game after game."
