Ricky Alvarez: Inter are determined to beat AC Milan in Supercoppa Italiana
Alvarez joined Inter from Velez Sarsfield this summer and the Argentine is keen to start his career at the 2010 Champions League winners on a high by securing the Supercup.
"I hope that Inter can do well in this Supercup, in fact I'm sure they can and my team-mates and I will do everything we can to achieve success here. We're extremely determined," Alvarez said on the club's official website.
"It's a hugely important achievement for me to be playing for Inter, and it's an honour to be representing the club in China. Inter and China together is a union to be respected, because this country deserves respect."
Saturday's game will kick off at 15:00 CET.
