Mazzola: Inter can cope without Sneijder
The hold up to a deal has been over wage demands, however, Inter are willing to negotiate a sale, and Mazzola feels he could move on.
"I believe Sneijder has had a very good offer [from Manchester United] and he is currently evaluating it," Mazzola told Goal.com.
"I also feel Inter could do without Sneijder as he was not too great last season. He could leave, that's possible."
Earlier, former United ace Eric Cantona expressed his hope that the Premier League club would sign Sneijder from Inter.
Mazzola played for Inter between 1960 and 1977. The former striker lifted the European Cup twice as a member of the great Inter side coached by Helenio Herrera, and played in three World Cups for Italy.
