Inter's Javier Zanetti: Joining AC Milan is impossible

Zanetti could feature for Inter against their city rivals in Saturday's Supercoppa Italiana.

But joining Massimiliano Allegri's side is out of the question as he answers speculative suggestions that president Silvio Berlusconi wants him at Milan.

"I have never heard about this. Berlusconi knows I am an Inter player and so this [joining Milan] is impossible," Zanetti told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"We are thinking about the game which is very important for us.

"The team is happy and enthusiastic and we hope the results allow us to be competitive during the season."

Inter play Milan at the Beijing National Stadium, which is also known as the Bird's Nest for its structural design.
